Jarvis Miller of Teachy, NC 1957-2007
In Memory of Jarvis Lee Miller-1957-2007
Jarvis Lee Miller, 50, of Teachey, died
Aug. 7, 2007 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington NC.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at
the New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Rose Hill with the Rev. Reginald A. Wells officiating.
Burial
will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey.
He was the owner and operator of Small Town Convenience Mart, Car
Wash, Laundromat, Storage and Calabash Seafood Restaurant in Magnolia.
Survivors include his wife, Treva A. Miller
of the home; two sons, Travis Miller and Jarvis Miller Jr., both of Teachey; mother, Hilda B. Miller of Teachey; four sisters,
Bettie M. Miller of Teachey, Lorraine Whitted of Durham, Bonnie P. Miller of Rose Hill and Sharon A. Miller of Durham; four
grandsons; and his father, James Arrington of Teachey.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Miller, yet we rejoice in knowing
that he is resting in eternity with the Lord. God blessed many lives through his journey and provided many fond
memories for you cherish. Our prayer for you all is that the Lord will strengthen and comfort you during this time of
sorrow, and transition.
And while the days ahead may seem difficult to face, please rest in the assurance
of Jesus' words as He said “Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted,” and the words
of the Apostle Paul as he said; “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.”
